Posted August 24, 2017 by Katie RobertsNaming your baby after a character from “Game of Thrones” is so three years ago. It should come as no surprise that the Stark children’s Direwolves were one of the biggest sources of naming inspiration among survey participants, with Whistle reporting that 62 percent of its users’ “Thrones”-adjacent monikers belong to either Grey Wind, Lady, Nymeria, Summer, Shaggydog, or Ghost.According to the survey, non-Direwolf “Thrones” names that have proven popular tend to skew more toward residents of the North, with Arya (named after Maisie Williams’s character, Arya Stark) and Snow (named for Kit Harington’s Jon Snow) among the most used.If you’re looking to procure a pooch and name it after your favorite “GoT” character, though, consider following the advice of star Peter Dinklage: The actor recently encouraged “Thrones” fans not to get a dog (like the Direwolf-like husky) unless they were serious about the commitment raising a pet takes — and urged people to adopt the pet from a shelter whenever possible. We’ll raise a glass of wine to that.[via: Entertainment Weekly] Now, the cool trend is to name your dog after a resident of Westeros. That’s the word from a new survey conducted jointly by Whistle and Rover, which reports that “GoT” is the hot new thing when it comes to what people call their pets.

The two also appeared during Sarah’s nightmare sequence, with Leslie playing the younger version of Sarah.8. 1. But as the sequels have shown us, that future never came to pass. Not only did he visibly age over the course of the near six-month shoot, but Furlong’s voice also dropped, forcing him to rerecord a great deal of dialogue during post-production.7. While the original “Terminator” was a decent box office success in 1984, this sequel managed to top that gross in its first two days of release. If the mini-gun Schwarzenegger’s T-800 wields during the Cyberdyne shootout looks familiar, that’s because the exact same prop gun was also used by Jesse Ventura’s character in 1987’s “Predator.” Neither character had time to bleed.10. Biehn did appear in “T2,” in a deleted scene, where his character came to Sarah Connor in a dream.3. Robert Patrick (above) wasn’t actually the first choice to portray the T-1000. The “Terminator 2” Blu-ray includes an alternate ending that showcases the happy, Terminator-free future that the Connors created by defeating Skynet. During the filming of that biker bar scene, a random passerby wandered onto set confused as to why Schwarzenegger was walking around wearing nothing but Bermuda shorts. 2. (At the time, it was also the most expensive movie ever made.)11. Cameron revealed that the biker bar sequence was filmed across the street from where the infamous LAPD beating of Rodney King took place. Apparently the filming was taking place while the beating was happening.5. Thanks, James Cameron! In the scene where the T-1000 is disguised as Sarah Connor, Linda Hamilton played the T-1000 while her sister, Leslie Hamilton Gearren, played Sarah. Like a good sequel is supposed to, it took everything that was great about the original and dialed it up to (at least) eleventy, while further cementing Arnold Schwarzenegger’s reputation as one of the great Hollywood badasses. Because “Hasta la vista, baby” doesn’t have quite the same impact when the entire film is dubbed in Spanish, the Spanish version of “Terminator 2” changed that line to say “Sayonara, baby.”4. Cameron also reportedly mulled over the idea of casting “The Terminator” actor Michael Biehn (pictured) as the liquid-metal villain, with the explanation that Skynet had cloned the late Kyle Reese and turned him into a Terminator. As effects-driven as this movie was, Cameron relied on twin actors to save time and money whenever scenes called for body doubles. The film went on to become the highest-grossing movie of 1991. When our heroes are refueling their car after fleeing into the desert, a gas pump can be seen sporting the logo for Benthic Petroleum, the fictional company that owned the oil rig in “The Abyss.” Does this mean the two movies take place in the same universe?9. I think he likes it. They love each other but they’re so different. There’s all kinds of mixed things going on with Littlefinger and that relationship with Sansa. But he puts himself on the line like a good gambler.”This fool should’ve fled Winterfell the second Bran told him chaos is a ladder. Arya still sees Sansa as a snooty prissy child that she was before she left for King’s Landing. He puts himself in a situation that could backfire on him. With carefully laid plans there’s always a bit of risk involved. They never really got along. No. There’s a big lack of communication. However, actor Aidan Gillen knows his character is walking a fine line, and his plan could “backfire” at any moment. They don’t really talk about what they’ve gone through. It’s like a f*cking horror movie.”You know who’s loving this? on HBO.Want more stuff like this? And now that they’re back together that’s heightened because they’ve gone down totally different paths and have had to adapt to totally different situations to the point where they don’t see on each other’s level. Arya could’ve killed Sansa at any time, but she handed over the dagger that Littlefinger had given Bran, that Bran gave to Sansa. There are powers much greater than his machinations in play here, and he has to know a short-term win here can never be a long-term gain. Would Sansa kill Arya? Here’s what Gillen told EW:”Watching my plan come to fruition is quite something. […] Arya is certainly lethal and sort of threatening, but when Sansa sends Brienne away, who is Arya’s natural protector, something is coming very soon between them, and it will be violent but surprising.”If one of them were really to die, would he drop that spoiler? This whole thing is frustrating — we just wanted a happy Stark family reunion!Sansa actress Sophie Turner is the one who compared this tension to “a f*cking horror movie” in a talk with Entertainment Weekly:”In the books, it says something about how Arya and Sansa are different sides of the same coin. Between Bran’s emo omniscience and Jon Snow eventually returning, what’s his end game? The Season 7 finale airs Sunday, Aug. His plans are never fail safe. Sounds like he just wanted to leave that impression. I love the fact that these two come back, they’re both lethal, and I just wanted to give the impression, as much as possible, that one of them is going to die. Posted August 23, 2017 by Gina CarboneThe “f*cking horror movie” playing out between Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, and Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish will climax in the “Game of Thrones” Season 7 finale. While most of the main “Game of Thrones” characters gather in King’s Landing for that White Walker summit, the Stark sisters will be at Winterfell climbing the ladder of Littlefinger’s chaos. The Episode 7 finale, titled “The Dragon and the Wolf,” airs in a supersized episode this Sunday, Aug. There’s this underlying tension. We’re very aware of how lethal Arya is, because she’s displayed it over and over again. But you’re not sure which one. So watching her grow in stature is quite enjoyable. They never really had that communication before, and now when it’s vital to do they don’t have that and can’t understand each other. Littlefinger.
